Chällerflüe Bike

Station description

From Leukerbad (Leukerbad) the route follows the right side of the Dala valley to Chällerflüe. Get your strength back in the restaurant in Birchen before starting the 500-meter climb that follows. This climb includes the crossing of the "Chäller", where you have to push your mountain bike for about 350 meters. Although the path is quite wide and secured by steel cables, it is better not to be prone to vertigo. But it's worth it: once you reach the top, you'll have a breathtaking view of the entire Rhone valley. The panorama will quickly make you forget the efforts made previously. After a well-deserved rest, there follows a descent of 1100 meters on high level singletrails to Varen.
